Kitchen Manager – Manor Farm Beefeater, Gillingham
£39,000 – £42,500 | Fixed-Term Contract until 3rd September
Set in the heart of Gillingham, Manor Farm Beefeater is a busy, high-energy restaurant with a strong mix of locals and visitors—making it the perfect place to step into a fast-paced kitchen leadership role and make an immediate impact this summer.
Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll be central to the kitchen’s success, building a motivated back-of-house team and delivering consistently high-quality dishes that keep guests coming back. You’ll support with recruitment and onboarding, lead from the front with energy and confidence, and bring your team together through clear communication and engaging pre-shift briefs.
You’ll drive performance through regular coaching and 1:1s, ensuring everyone understands their goals while maintaining high food standards in a fast-moving environment. With a sharp eye for detail and a real passion for quality and consistency, you’ll inspire your team to deliver at their best.
You’ll also take ownership of labour and cost control, stock management, and food safety compliance, using key metrics and feedback to identify opportunities and maximise kitchen performance. As part of an innovative business, you’ll embrace change and help bring new ideas to life.
